Surrounding the aquamarines are clusters of natural, earth-mined, round brilliant cut diamonds. These diamonds weigh a total of 0.45 carat. They are of rare white colour G, which means that they are tremendously pure white and bright. These diamonds are also of excellent VS2 clarity, and therefore they are particularly clear and clean - indeed totally clean to the naked eye. The crowns (gemset clusters) measure a very impressive 10.5mm x 8.5mm. The earrings and butterfly backs are very well-made of fully-hallmarked, 9 carat white gold. They are for pierced ears and they will come in a good quality earring presentation box.
The earrings come complete with a jewellery report from EDR. EDR's fully-equipped, state of the art, diamond grading laboratory is based in London. An EDR jewellery report card guarantees that the stones examined are natural gemstones. It contains a description of the item of jewellery, including: carat-weight, colour, clarity, cut, and metal details. The EDR report card supplied with these earrings states that the gemstones are of the quality indicated above.
An appraisal for insurance purposes is also supplied, which values the earrings at £1,000.
